asapm Strategic Alliance and Affiliate Relationships
The links below reflect several types of special relationships and signed agreements with Project Management-related organizations that work together with asapm to advance the state of the program and project management discipline.

Business Development Institute, InternationalIn September 2008, representatives from a number of professional organizations met at the headquarters of the American Society of Association Executives in Washington, DC, to establish strategic alliances through an umbrella organization, later named the "International Business Development Council" (IBDC).

The Council was officially formed on 9 March 2009. Read the press release here. The Council’s goal is to develop global partnerships and programs that benefit the members represented by the consituent organizations, and promote the value and recognition of their respective professions.

See more about the IBDC Strategic Alliance Members here.

Business Development Institute, International Business Development Institute International
(BD-Institute) is a key Strategic Alliance for asapm. They are a not-for-profit organization that specializes in improving the relationship between Buyers and Sellers before a Contract begins.

Just one of BD-Institute's secrets to success is a Business Development Capability Maturity Model (BD-CMM®), helping improve the business maturity of capture management and contract success. Visit the BD-Institute website and download your copy of BD-CMM.

Use BD-CMM to improve your project and program success; then attend one of BD-Institute's stellar workshops to see how to further improve your winning ways.

Want To Connect with asapm?
asapm is negotiating additional Strategic Alliances and Affilliate Agreements with other not-for-profit organizations, and those will also appear on this page. We are interested in establishing Strategic Alliance agreements with other Project-related non-profit membership organizations. Working together, we can more quickly advance the practice of Project Management.

Each relationship involves a signed agreement that spells out the intent and advantages of the working relationship. Please contact us if you are involved with a not-for-profit organization that could benefit from the relationships identified on this page, Strategic Alliance Partners. Please submit your suggestions for inclusions on this page by e-mailing us about Alliance Partners.

The HotLink Exchange is our reciprocal exchange of links with non-profit and professional associations related to Project Management. We provide them as a courtesy to Members and Associates.
